Jas Chavla, founder of Futures Accounting and Compliance (FAC) started his career as an auditor with National Futures Association (NFA) where he audited numerous commodity firms for five years. Subsequently, he joined an organization specializing in accounting services for commodity firms. While working there, Jas identified a need among commodity firms for specialized accounting services and assistance with compliance matters specifically tailored to the client. As an NFA auditor dealing primarily with Commodity Trading Advisors (CTA), Commodity Pool Operators (CPO) and Introducing Brokers (IB), Jas Chavla gained extensive experience in understanding and evaluating the accounting and compliance needs of commodities firms. At NFA, Jas was actively involved with disclosure documents analysis, review of performance records and financial and operational audits of CTAs, CPOs and IBs. Jas Chavla
is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of Illinois CPA Society and
the Managed Futures Association. Jas Chavla formed FAC in 1992 to provide
custom accounting and compliance services by professionals with extensive
experience and the sincere desire to contribute to their client's success.
FAC's team currently consists of two former Auditors and an experienced
auditor from Peat Marwick. FAC's mission is to provide the commodity industry
